Africa Project 2020 is an effort to eradicate Hunger in Africa before the year 2020 through empowering Farmers in Africa for a Sustainable Agriculture, Infrastructural Development, Education, and Effective Health Care.

From the Founder

I was strickened with the statistics of the number of children that dies everyday in Africa. I started asking myself series of questions, what if I was one of the children counted in the statistics? what if one of my friends was one of the children counted in the statistics?

I thought it is very necessary to do something to carve out this deadly disaster totally out of Africa. I first start thinking of where to start this Project, even though it is not a one person Job, but I can manage to raise the Project to a state where more people will be able to participate in the project. The idea of creating an online presence comes to my mind because I feel it is the best way to get people involved in the Project easily.

My choice of 2020 as the target year to carve out Hunger in Africa is looking at the fact that so many short-term projects were un-successful, having good time of planning will bring a long-lasting result at the end of the Project.

AP2020 forcused well on Sustainable Agriculture as the best way to carve Hunger out of Africa, so, I am pleading the citizens of Africa, America, Asia, Middle East, Australia, to have a hand in fighting Hunger in Africa by participating in AP2020. Our focus is not just to feed, because feeding will not end Hunger, but by putting in place structured plans for Africans to feed themselves without aid from other continents is the Project’s main mission.
